Taking the Headache out of fundraising

This weekend an estimated 50k+ people enjoyed the Fiesta Grande Street Fair on Grande Avenue. The only thing that kept them from crushing last year’s attendance was unseasonably wet weather. Team Fundreasy, was on scene Sunday afternoon, and despite on and off again rain throughout the morning and afternoon everyone was in great spirits. For those who were in attendance, the weather helped to take the edge off the usually warm Tucson weather.

The car show went off without a hitch. There were over 60 vintage cars and trucks in attendance, and it drew a large crowd. Prizes were awarded. A big thanks to the Dukes Car club for attending the event. We’ll keep an eye out for you guys in the future. A big shout out to Jason “Bubba” McCoy and the rest of the crew for making this such a memorable part of the event.

It’s hard to say what our favorite part was, munching on food, listening to the festive music, or enjoying a few frosty refreshments. We caught up with event organizer Rich Cannon, and got the behind the scenes tour of the fiesta. Let me tell you the sponsors and vendors were great, everyone had a big smile on their face despite the sheer exhaustion that comes from a weekend long event like Fiesta Grande.

Please support the Fiesta Grande Street Fair of Barrio Hollywood after their event by donating to their fundraiser.
